Some quick notes to you, the readers...

"So take this number...and welcome to Operation:Mindcrime!"--Queensryche, from the title track to "OPERATION:MINDCRIME"

Good morning, folks! Right now, I am at the Vista Public Library, getting in my two-hour daily run on their Internet-capabale computers. I checked my blog today, and I decided to slip y'all some information (and a few kudos).

First, to those who left comments on my blog-site: I thank you for reading my blog entries. Any comments I do get are read, but not neccessairly commented upon by your's truly.

Second, to Sam (and anybody else who falls into this catagory): I do have one other blog site on MySpace, called Robbiebear's Rage Page. Look for it at www.myspace.com/hollekampfer. I do plan on finding more ways to get more blogs, so as soon as I start a new one, I'll let you kind folks know. Also, if I ever get my own website (don't make me laugh, Meatwad), you'll be informed as well. (BTW: "hollekampfer" means "hellfighter" in German. I use a lot of German words and phrases when I'm online for passwords and account names, since I am fluent in "Der Sprache Des Genies" (The Language Of Geniuses, BTW).

Some sad news to report: Mosher Rat passed away three weeks ago, after aspirating a piece of plastic (from his water bottle) that he got a-hold of. He is missed, but life goes on, and within the next two weeks, a new "little buddy" will join me at my place to brighten up my life.

To the staff at the San Diego Reader: I thank you kindly for selecting my essay to be the second-place winner for the June 2009 "Neighborhood Essays" contest. I am glad that you kind folks thought that I had the tools, talent, drive, and desire to compete and do well.

In other news: I am currently working on a book about mental illness and the mental health care system, all from the "client's" point of view. The working title is "THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY," and I hope to have it ready to send off to an agent by year's end.

I am also working on a article for The Reader along the same lines. This will take about a month to write...and a wee bit longer to see published. Stay tuned!

Well, that's about all from where I am sitting. Take care, and may you-and-yours' be in Heaven three hours before Lucifer finds out you passed on!
