What is 365 days in one's life?

Every day we experience something or meet someone that changes our lives. No matter how minute the change is, it does affect how we deal with certain situations in the future. For this reason, I thought why not document the experiences that I have in one year? I've opted to start taking photographs every day since January 1st. I thought it was the easiest form to start with because I haven't really tried writing for years and I wasn't sure if that was going to pan out well. It's been 27 days and it's been enlightening.

Last year, went too fast and it felt like I was just some kind of bystander in my life. I was working as a Production Manager for a company which had no business ethics and treated their clients with disrespect. I stayed there because after changing my career into media, I quickly find out that starting out late with no experience doesn't help when looking for a job. I started out as a Graphic Designer and after about six months I was promoted to Production Manager. I spent twelve hours nearly every week day and sometimes weekends. With those insane hours, I was also full-time in college, trying to finish my degree in Multimedia. I barely had any time for personal life but I loved the work that I do and having a degree is really overdue at this point in my life.

Since the company didn't really have their business practices in the right place, I got laid off in October. It was done during my day off and through email! It's been three months now, and I still haven't found employment. I'm going to be finished with school at the end of this summer so it's one of the positive things that keep my spirits up these days.

There were plenty of happy memories of last year, but the bad ones always stand out because it's the one that affects you the most. I started my photoblogging project because, I would like to notice little things again. To see the beauty of every single day that makes up our lives.
