Last night, II was shocked to find that two of my tweets from last November have been permanently cached to my name in the Internet results index. This is entirely unfair because they are taken out of context. In one, I say that stupid people voted for Jerry Brown. In the other, I ranted because Governor Brown cut group homes for the disabled and adult day care for the elderly; and shortly after that, gave away $65 million to illegal immigrants so they can go to school.
Anyone reading these tweets (and I've tweeted about many other things) would think that I'm a flaming, Latino-hating racist. Such is not the case. I have no doubt that many of the disabled and elderly who suffer from the cuts are Latino. There are probably more Latinos than anyone else who depend on social programs because their incomes tend to be lower than those of other groups.
I think Twitter is unconscionable for allowing this smear campaign to take place, and Google, Jerry Brown's camp, democrats or whoever is terrible for doing this to me. This morning, I deleted my Twitter account, but once I got to thinking about it, I realized that running is exactly what they want me to do. So I'm reinstating my account and posting this blog to let people know about the dirty dogs that lurk in the Twitter underworld. If no one buys my books because of it, so be it.
