The Aerial San Diego Project was born in 2009 after I placed a free ad in Craigslist. I had no idea who might be interested in doing a project like this, and I had no budget to speak of, so I could not afford an expensive aerial tour service.
I was surprised at all of the very helpful responses I got from my ad. Within a week or two, one thoughtful pilot had forwarded my info to another pilot friend of his named Todd Bohlman, and we began our adventures right away. This black and white of Palomar was taken on one of our very first flights.
