Black, White, and Brew

Expression, mood, and ambiance are all things that are often best conveyed without color. The show “Black, White, & Brew” is a group exhibition at Bar BASIC, on October 2nd, 2012 from 7-12pm, showcasing artists who adhere to this simple color scheme. Keemoworks and E.vil are part of a collaborative group of art lovers and creators known as KEM. Their distinctive style and interest in all types of self-expression comes through in their work. Keemowerks is a fascinating artist with a unique style of combining beauty and mortality. Stunning female portraits look as if x-radiograph film has been layered over the image, creating a beautiful, and shocking, contrast. E.vil’s artistic style is translated through apparel and toy design. Sophinie Som specializes in web design, graphic arts, illustration, photography, as well as other media. Her multidiscipline approach to artistic creation allows her work to have dimension and depth. Besides designing the flyer for this event, Sophinie Som regularly designs lettering and logos. 920 Kline Street La Jolla, CA 92037 858.354.6294 www.tumbprintgallery.com Media Contact: Johnny Tran | Co-owner/Director [email protected] Born in Mexico, Sonia Lopez-Chavez is a local artist who is inspired by nature and positive energy.
