This salute goes out to all the Mothers I have had the priviledge of knowing and all the ones I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet. This includes all the men I know who are, or have been single Fathers. Men who have had to wear both hats, being both mom and dad. All those special people who know and appreciate the special sacrifices involved with giving their children the tools to become successful and productive members of society. With the pitfalls which come with the current economy the challenges are even tougher to overcome. Whether it's keeping a job, keeping and maintaining a home, or simply feeding and clothing your family, todays economy continues to kick our country's ass. This is why I feel it's so important to give kudos to all these special people with a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY shout out. Continue to love, nurture and support your children and they will make our country better and stronger. They are our future.
