We're in that time of year where there are more cloudy nights than clear. For SDAA members it's a time of the season when we focus on indoor astronomy activities. Cleaning the gear, refurbishing rusted accessories, painting the scratches on the OTA's, you name it, we fix it.
And when we need a sky fix, we turn to the web and take a virtual journey through the past year of astro photos taken by members of the club. I maintain a pretty pictures site for the club where more than a 100 of our members post photos they take throughout the year. When I hunker down with a cup a coco, and toast my toes in warmth of the heater beneath my workstation, that's wen I go browsing these beautiful creations.

Some of these shots are out of this world. Literally!
