Well you’re in luck because the San Diego Century cycling event is Saturday June 1st. Registration is closed but there are a limited number of walk-up registrations available on Friday, May 31st.
There are four distances in the event, 25 miles, 37 miles, 66 miles, and 103 miles. For the 103 mile course the riders start in Solana Beach and go out beyond Poway and up to Escondido.
The pricing on this event appears to be pretty decent. The price range is $50 to $110--compare that to $175 for the Rock ‘n’ Roll.
