Achieving my New Year’s resolution is going to have to wait. My resolution for this year is to finish a marathon in three hours or less.
The loose ACL in my right knee has decided I won’t be doing that at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on June 2nd.
From time to time my right knee swells up. It doesn’t seemed to be attached to any particular activity but more to muscle tension in my hips and calves.
My right knee has been swollen for about five weeks which has killed my training schedule.
So far as New Year’s goes, we’re not quite halfway through 2013 so I have six months to break three hours and the knee is starting to feel good.
