Alexander Salazar is at it again.
His 20,000+ square foot gallery space - Alexander Salazar Fine Art, which exhibits the works of international and emerging artists and over 25 San Diego artists alike - is the driving force behind Art Nights Downtown happening Wednesday, April 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This urban art crawl will take place at three downtown restaurants simultaneously, turning each into a mini-gallery exhibiting the works of one of three artists represented by Alexander Salazar Fine Art.
RA Sushi San Diego (474 Broadway Avenue) will display the comic-like graphite illustrations of Richard Reyes.

See how Erik Skoldberg's paintings explore "colors’ infinite possibilities" at Saltbox Restaurant (1047 5th Avenue).

While Jarod Farver's vibrant, layered, abstract paintings can be seen at Spike Africa’s (411 Broadway Avenue).

The artists will each hold court at their respective pop-up galleries to answer any questions posed by, and to mingle with, the art-goers.
Attendees can start at any of the locations and travel freely amongst the three venues - all located within a stone's throw of one another.
Guests will be given a small informational flyer upon check-in at their first location, which will act as a passport for the event.
This passport will have information about the artists and venues which will then get stamped upon entry at each of the restaurant venues.
Once the passport has seen the likes of all three of the pop-up galleries, head on over to Alexander Salazar Fine Art (640 Broadway) to relinquish said passport in exchange for a complimentary glass of golden, alcoholic bubbly (read: champagne!).
And if art makes you hungry, then you're in luck since each restaurant-cum-gallery will have unique hosted (read: free!) appetizers and drink specials.
A RSVP is needed to get into this art adventure, however, so shoot an email to [email protected] and then figure out what to wear.
