This Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Target sponsors free admission for The New Children's Museum (200 West Island Ave). The museum is a nonprofit "dynamic new model of a museum that celebrates children and the arts. NCM brings families together in a rich educational environment that fosters creativity— blending elements of art museum, children's museum, and community center."

Right now the Museum features an exhibit called Trash, which explores the production, impact, as well as possibilities of repurposing trash in the U. S. Kids will be able to "create an urban landscape to showcase our vibrant city and people! Paint and collage repurposed items to add our mural, which will be displayed at the San Diego International Airport."

On Sunday, Family Health Centers of San Diego will also be present in the Arts Education Center at 11 a.m. to provide information on healthy and active living for children under 5. Health screening workshops will be held at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. And the SDSU Dance Team will perform at 3 p.m.
