Tomorrow kicks off the first day of the Fall for Writing Conference hosted by San Diego Writers, Ink at the Ink Spot (710 13th St Studio 210). "Show--Don't Tell: How to Move the Audience from Reading to Experiencing" runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is led by writer Judy Reeves. From 2-4 p.m., Carlos de los Rios teaches "Secrets to Creating an Unforgettable Core Idea" where students will learn "how to identify what makes a solid, marketable and complete core idea." In the evening, novelist Drusilla Campbell teaches "Fiction Read and Critique" from 7-9 p.m. The workshop will focus on the first three pages of students' novels with "a few mini lessons and how-tos in this workshop intended for writers at any level who want to get their book off to a rocket start."
The All-in-One pass grants access to all panels, workshops, and events for $75; individual admission to a single workshop is $25, and each hour-long panel costs $5. Registration can be completed online or in person.
