Ever since Miami trendsetter Rudy Eugene got naked and gnawed a stranger’s face off in May, zombies have pretty much been the next big “it” thing.
Speculation quickly pointed fingers at everything from LSD to cocaine psychosis to bath salts.
But, as a wave of copycats and Eugene’s toxicology report would later confirm, you don’t have to be twisted on store-bought meth analogs (traces of marijuana were found in Eugene’s system, however, underlining the severity of the so-called “munchies” inflicted by this dangerous and unpredictable Schedule I substance) to take a fancy in human flesh.
It is in this spirit that Run For Your Lives invites you to take part in the undead drama that is sweeping the nation with a first-of-its-kind 5K run.
Conquer a 12-part obstacle course while evading (or succumbing to) the zombie apocalypse at the infected zone on the southern shores of Vail Lake in South Temecula.
October 20 is already booked full and the 21st is three-quarters there, so make haste.
Your life, after all, depends on it.
Tickets - $87 runners, $20 spectators.
