This week I took a San Diego harbor tour for the first time via San Diego Harbor Excursions. Tickets cost $22-27 though you can find a $3 discount here.
Tours are split into north and south, and there is the option of the two-hour combined tour. Excursions begin at 10 a.m. with the last tour at 5:30 p.m. The narrated tours detail the buildings, piers, military ships, and Coronado Bridge on the south tour.

After we passed the convention center, we cruised beneath the Coronado Bridge.

The tour guide pointed out various military ships, some amphibious and others able to transport 1,800 marines, fight piracy, and detect mines.
