Exotic Erotic Burlesk at Mama Tam's

Thai cuisine is about to get hotter for the House of Pink Boom Box’s Exotic Erotic modern burlesk revue at Tam’s Thailand Food in Normal Heights.

“I was a stripper for five years and I pictured it being more glamorous than it was, so I decided to make it more glamorous.” says Lilly Holiday, mother of the House of Pink Boom Box burlesque and performance art group, "Not traditional glamor. Not dancing around to big band. More of a New York performance vibe. More Lady Gaga or Jeffree Star glamor.”

Holiday has brought the Pink Boom Box vibe with productions including Seedy Soiree, Twisted Nutcracker, Monster Mash, and the Air Conditioned Composition live drawing class at AC Lounge every Sunday.

The Saturday, February 25 showcase will be the troupe’s premier dinner show. Mama Tam and her intimate venue are legendary in local circles, and seating is limited to less than 50.

A $25 presale or $30 door ticket includes a meal of:

Appetizers: Potato and curry seduction rolls or green papya salad

Entrees (severed with choice of white or black Thai rice):

-Spicy Normal Heights chicken (spiced with red pepper, deep fried, and severed with seasonal veggies)

-Backyard pork (Tam’s family special blends of spices and veggies. Very lemon grassy!)

-Tam's special vegetarian stir fry (with all fresh seasonal veggies)

Lilly Holiday on right.
