CityFest Night Premieres at CityFest 2012

Hillcrest introduces the first ever CityFest Night in conjunction with the 28th annual CityFest. CityFest, which takes place at 5th Ave and University Ave in Hillcrest, "is a huge celebration of community spirit...and attracts 150,000+ attendees each year." CityFest 2012 will be held on Sunday, August 12 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There will be food, the SD Pix water slide, a beer garden, over 300 artisans and crafters, and a dance floor beneath the Hillcrest sign. The live music lineup includes Run Honey, Bitter Sober, Mimi Zulu and The Revenge, Hott Thing, and DJs to spin for the dance floor. The event is also kid-friendly with face painting, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap Bathtub, "an interactive/interblastive foam experience in a giant bathtub," bumper cars, and more.
