I mean, I could have grabbed something off the web that was taken with a better camera by a better photographer, and so given you some better sense of just how astonishing and thrilling it is to watch a cresting wave light up from within like something out of James Cameron's wildest dreams. To drag your feet through the sand and watch the trails of your toes light up like the tails of so many falling stars like something out of Michael Jackson's wildest dreams. To scoop water into your hand and watch your skin sparkle like something out of Stephanie Meyers' wildest dreams. But if I did that, you might let the photo be enough. You might not go there and see for yourself. And that's not what I'm after.
