Opening this weekend and sticking around all the way until June of next year is the new exhibit Geometry Playground at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. The exhibit was directed by Peggy Monahan, who told me, "Every time we move through space we're using geometry."
I imagine the toughest thing about this exhibit will be getting kids to take turns playing with all of the interactive displays. But one of the museum representatives said they will have extra volunteers on hand to make sure every kid gets a turn.
Here's a short video montage of parts of the exhibit that caught my eye. This is hardly all of it. "At nearly 8,000 square feet, this is the largest exhibit to ever come to the Fleet."
