In anticipation of San Diego’s LGBT Pride celebration, So Say We All, San Diego Writers, Ink, and the San Diego Art Institute will host “The Fab & Furious Queer Circus of Dastardly Delights” tomorrow at the San Diego Art Institute Museum of the Living Artist.
The event combines storytelling, dance, slam poetry, performance art, and visual artists focusing on the local gay, lesbian, transgender, and queer community, including presentations from poet Jericho Brown, activist Autumn Sandeen, essayist Dave White, singers and actresses Adriana Zuniga and Dawn Marie Williams, Liat Wexler, Dylan Yates, and Allen Clark.
Artists include Kalpulli Atlachinolli, Adrian de la Pena, Frankie Martin, Jayson Ward, Jen Smith, Kristine Thompson, Marcus Civin, Omar Lopez, Rigo Maldonado, Robert Steinberger and Angelica Bell, The Rubber Rose, Steve MacIsaac, Eddie Green and his Puppet Divas, Zac Monday, the San Diego Drag Kings Aaron Valenzuela and Double Break.
Included in the suggested $5 cover are pickling demonstrations, tarot readings, opera, nuns, participatory art, and more.
