This Thursday, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla is curating its ninth annual alt.pictureshows showcase, a collection of 17 short films including winners of Best Short Film at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and Best Animated Short Film at the 2010 Academy Awards.
Cathy Alberich’s Ready to Wear documents three vintage fashion enthusiasts in Tijuana and San Diego. An installation at the museum’s thoughtLAB will showcase styles from Tijuana designers followed by a fashion show at 8 p.m.
