Its a shame!

How is it that this intelligent, gentle, and happy little brown skinned, curly haired child gets shunned at a park? He runs into a crowd of happy playing children with the intentions of joining in the fun. As soon as he approaches the group the children offer looks of disgust and quickly scatter. So the child decides to play on his own and a "bitter" child, that's the best way I can describe him, comes and descides that he is going to bully him. This is where I draw the line. This is where I actually took a look at the parents. It is the parents that teach children how to judge based on race. I can honestly say this is sad and a definate sign of how broken society really is. I shake my head and shame any parent that accepts and allows prejudice and bullying. Rather we want to believe it or not racism and prejudice do exist and it is our children who pay! After all parents are the first defense for the growth and teaching hatred and judgement is not growth and is conterproductive. I pray for little brownskinned curly haired children like this child. Growing up in this type of society they are going to encounter racism, prejudice, and unjustifiable hatred. It is those that shine regardless and inspite that are truely an inspiration.
