Dis-belief or Mis-belief

What makes people stop believing in things? It is really sad that some people believe that nothing but the mundane exists.

In reality, (something that needs checking every now and then), the evidence that things like magick really exists is tremendous, not to mention things like psychics and tarot cards, runes and astrological charts. There is much in the way of proof that all of these things have validity, not to mention much more history than the people who, through ignorance and stubbornness, denounce them. There are even physicists who now say that it has been proven, through experimentation, that magick is possible. It is also a matter of scientific fact the the heavenly bodies do have an affect on our world, just the same as the moon causes our tides to change and effect the behavior of people in general.

So how do people stop believing? Are people's lives so terrible, and themselves so disillusioned that they must project their afflictions on other people, and attempt to crush people's beliefs? It is the opinion of this writer that this is just purely pathetic. It is the equivalent of someone saying that doctors don't really exist, and that the whole medical field is a hoax to take your money, and doctors really charlatans. Any person that has any education at all knows that there is validity in our medical system, not to say that there aren't people that are out to get your money in this, or any business, but that doesn't mean that the science is fake or ineffective.

Too many people lose their ability to believe and along with it the ability to dream and be creative. This is sad. If a person wants to give up all the magick that really does exist in our world, they should keep their comments to themselves and not infect the strong healthy minds of those that still fantasize, dream, believe...
