More of Stick Figure at the OB Farmer's Market

It's been 3 weeks since the OB in HD crew took in Stick Figure's Wednesday evening show at the Ocean Beach Farmer's Market, and we're still enjoying the sights and sounds from the performance. In this 10-minute segment, our next-to-last clip from the show, the band performs two original Stick Figure tracks.

First is a tasty rendition of The World Is Waiting, from 2008's Burnin' Ocean album. Listen for the classic remark from someone off-camera right as the song starts up.

Second is Hawaii Song, which several folks had been requesting since the beginning of the show. The song, one of the gems on 2009's Smoke Stack, always gets everybody moving, and the Farmer's Market crowd definitely gets moving here.

Stick Figure features front man Scott Woodruff on lead guitar, Brendan Dane on bass, Todd Smith on drums, and Kevin Bong on keys. http://stickfiguremusic.com/

some lyrics from The World Is Waiting:

nothing comes before your mind

got to take a break sometimes

tomorrow is a new day and I want to go to rest tonight

the world is sleeping on me

hard to fall to sleep sometimes

full moon is shining so bright

been around the world seen it all once before

nothing comes before your life

some lyrics from Hawaii Song:

gone, so gone

I want to get away from this place

home is not where I want to be

not today, take me away

I am on my way

12 hours on a plane

in a short time

I'll be on my way
