The gate way of San Diego

Just think of what this place could tell you if it could talk. The stories it would have of it's past and the people it has seen. Old town is a bright, sunny and most of the time peaceful place. Yes, I know it has trains and trolley all hours. Cars that never seem to stop and airplanes flying out just down the road. But if you just stop and look around you will also find buildings that where here long before our grandparents where even born. It's history helped to form San Diego in to what it is today and there is so much to do and see. You have parks that tell you of how others lived, You have paths that people walked and cattle trained on before cars where even here. You can do almost anything you want just a short ride away. It has buses, trains and trolley’s to take you any where you want to go. When the wind is blowing just right you can smell the ocean and in the summer you get a fire work show from Sea World. The are many places to shop yourself broke. You have places to eat that could go up against the best in the world. And everyone seems to like just being here. If you want to take pictures to send to family and friends, this is the place. If you want to just sit under a tree in the park and read a book or watch the little critters at play, this is the place. If you want to take visitors to a nice place to eat and then for a walk in the park, this is the place. Old Town is not just and old town. It is a place of history, It is a hopeless romantic, and the gate way of San Diego no matter if you are going north, south, east or west you will get there from here.

P.S. I will be adding pictures of this lovely place I live when I can figure that part out.
