Happy Valentine's Day

I hope that every one has had a good Valentine's Day, or some variety of it, as it is other holidays today as well. Yesterday, I celebrated the lovefest by doing an 'Anti-Valentine's Day' date with my bestie, P. P and I have been besties for awhile and where as I have a boyfriend, and P's type isn't girls, I didn't want my single bestie to go forgotten.

I don't know how everything really came together but I have to say, GREAT day on Saturday. We went to Disneyland and then to the Pirate Dinner Adventure that is close by. Disneyland was it's normal awesome adventure but our side trip to the PIRATE Dinner Show was from sheer curiosity. I don't know how to describe all the emotions that I had / have for that show. It was squished seating, the servers had to serve us over the head of other people, and the fight scene music was set to a ripped copy of the Hook soundtrack. It was a great, if I had thought to bring my god-daughter who is three. Mneh, I was curious. Now I know. And now I know that Mideavil Times is 10^umpteenth times cooler (...and they have a torture museum).

Now I am back home in Carlsbad and I can't wait to start my day off at work in the morning. Lovefest was great, I watched PHANTOM OF THE OPERA with J (the bf)! But what is on the menu currently, sleep so I can wake up to the smell of red roses! :)
