Authorities are still looking for a man suspected of numerous incidents of indecent exposure in the Cardiff by the Sea area dating back to November 2012.
The suspect is described as a white male, age 25-30, last seen on the 2200 block of Carol View Drive (also the location of other alleged incidents), where he appeared from beneath an apartment complex stairway wearing nothing but a grey sweatshirt tied around his head and engaging in “a lewd act.”
Two photos of the suspect vary considerably, one released December 28 shows a clean-shaven man with medium-length dark hair, a new suspect sketch released March 1 shows the man wearing a full beard.
Detective Shawn Silva is looking for tips at (760) 966-3500, or informants may remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
