Authorities and family members are frantically searching for an eight year old girl, after she disappeared from a Tijuana shopping center on June 18. The child, Natalia Hernández Hernández, was at the Centro Comercial Soriana de la Plaza Universidad shopping with a family friend when she disappeared.
Natalia was wearing a blue dress and sandals when she went missing. The missing child is slightly less than 4 feet tall.
The Centro Comercial Soriana de la Plaza is across the street from the Otay Mesa police station in the northeast side of the city, not far from the U.S. border. Citizens and authorities are asked to keep an eye out for missing Baja California persons on both sides of the border, as victims are at times trafficked into the U.S.
If you have any information on Natalia, please call the Center for Missing Persons at (664) 104-28-00 extensions 2956 or 2957. You can also call the anonymous tip number 089 if you are in the Tijuana area. If in the United States you can contact K. Mennem at 619-306-7730 or by email at [email protected] and he will forward information to the proper authorities.
