According to assessor records, another Copley property has been sold. The buyer is the family of entrepreneur Tom Fetter, a neighbor of the late Helen Copley's Foxhill estate since 1960. Fetter, of T. Fetter & Co., explains that Helen Copley had put up a gate at the end of Country Club Drive, because she was concerned about people walking through the extensive acreage near the house. Fetter had assumed the gate was the eastern boundary of his lot. But the fence had been put in the wrong place, so Fetter bought a tiny sliver of Copley property. "The legal fees were more than the value of the property," he laughs.
