The law firm, LePatner & Associates, says it did investigative work for the school, which reached a settlement on a breach of contract case filed by the builder of the headquarters that opened in 2011. The firm also did work to provide information for a recent suit the school filed against the architect.
Earlier this month, the school revealed that it had laid off 12 staff members and eliminated 14 classes in a bid to slice $4.4 million from the budget. The school missed its goal of enrolling 350 new students this year by 100, according to the publication.
