Sheriff’s deputies are looking for help in identifying two men who attempted to abduct a 17 year-old girl in the Casa De Oro neighborhood of Spring Valley yesterday morning (April 4).
The girl was walking near the intersection of Kenwood Drive and Campo Road when an older burgundy sedan with two men inside approached.
“Hey beautiful, you need a ride?” the passenger called to the minor, who declined the offer. The passenger then exited the car and grabbed the girl by her arm and shoulder, attempting to force her into the vehicle. The victim fought him off and ran away, and the two suspects fled westbound on Campo Road.
The driver of the vehicle was described only as “a black male adult.” The passenger was described as a black male about 40 years of age, 5’8” with a stocky build, short hair, an unshaven face, and noticeable acne scars.
Sergeants Victor Rivera and Trinidad Tejada are handling calls with information that might lead them to the abduction suspects, and can be reached at (619) 337-2025.
