A man, who allegedly committed a murder in Chula Vista in 2008, was among three United States fugitives who were arrested in Baja California during the week. Alexander Rodolfo Salazar, the murder suspect, was arrested after a dispute outside a Tijuana grocery store on November 14th. According to a Tijuana municipal police statement, besides being wanted for murder in Chula Vista, Salazar is also wanted for armed robbery in Escondido, CA.
Two other Americans were arrested in San Felipe during the week as they were allegedly hiding from drug charges in Utah. Jaqueline Jean Randall and Lorin Davison, the two suspects, were tracked down by the international unit of the Baja State Police with help of the U.S. Marshals.
All three suspects were displayed for local media after the arrests and are expected to be deported to face charges in the United States immediately.
