Picasso, Pistol and Porsche Stolen from Posh Place

Tuesday afternoon a lady returned to her seaside home in a posh part of San Diego County and found her garage door open and her Porsche missing, according to San Diego Police spokeswoman Lt. Andra Brown.

The license on the black convertible 1995 Porsche reads 5EVM105, California plates.

The lovely home, just blocks from the ocean in exclusive La Jolla, was ransacked and relieved of a pistol and a Picasso print and valuable jewelry.

The Picasso art was described as a lithograph named “Girl With Red Beret” which the victims valued at $5,000, according to Lt. Brown. The stolen jewelry, valued at $25,000, reportedly included bracelets and necklaces and class rings which belonged to the married couple.

The stolen handgun was described as a black, semi-automatic Glock. Although the police spokeswoman declined to discuss whether they had a possible suspect, she did say, “We know they came in through the side door of the house.”
