A study recently conducted by the Pew Hispanic Center claims that the number of immigrants coming from Mexico have drastically slowed. The study states that between 2005 and 2010, the same number of Mexican immigrants entering the United States were leaving the United States (around 1.4 million)
Fox News reported today that Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) has offered to shelve thousands of deportation cases. 2,700 cases have already been shelved, and around 16,500 could be shelved pending review. The reason given for the reviews is to let ICE focus on the deportations of criminals.
