A vehicle jumped a curb, crossed a pedestrian walkway, and crashed into the lobby of Rancho Village Veterinary Hospital near Avocado Boulevard and Interstate 94 late Sunday morning. The auto stopped short of examination rooms and the kennel for pets staying overnight in the back of the facility, which is closed for business on Sundays.
No animals, staff, or patrons were injured due to the clinic being closed at the time of the incident. CHP reported two vehicle occupants were wounded. “Everything’s fine except our window,” said a front desk employee on Monday morning. Two missing windows were covered with plywood bearing the message “Alarm On – Yes, Alarm Works.”
