Only in Hillcrest

http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/apr/29/23644/

Put together two high jinx young ones...their clown of a French Bulldog...a dozen plus dog lovin' friends and relatives...a Sunday in April when it isn't raining and a dog friendly restaurant which would be only in Hillcrest and it's a Canine Birthday Party in the making

http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/apr/29/23641/

I really couldn't believe Oliver was a whole year old...I could remember when the little runt could fit in two hands and everything about him was adorable except his farts

Danielle had moved twice to keep him and keep him happy First to City Height right near the park...then to Hillcrest

http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/apr/29/23642/

Blaine and Danielle loved both areas. Especially the walk around everything is nearby aspect of the places. It was common for them to drop into Lancers for a nightly drink and visit with friends. Blaine sometimes bartended when the owners were in a pinch for help...it was even fun dragging Oliver over to the park on a leash..

What a spoiled puppy!!

We began to think he'd never leash train....Frenchie's can be so stubborn!!

Now that they live in Hillcrest Alibi's is the neighborhood drop in spot....cheap drinks ...great music on the juke box and outdoor seating...a dog friendly bar!!!

Well i never!!!

The party was Brunch at Babbo's Bar and Grille

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Babbos-Bar-and-Grille/144523062314201

A great little place on Park Ave with outdoor seating on a front patio and a waiter who literally jumped thru hoops to make us all happy

Tony Lucci was our waiter...the owner's son who deserved and got a hefty tip...and some dog kisses from Oliver

It's been a long time since i've had so much fun...i felt like i was back in San Francisco again...the ambiance of the place was so similar

A scrumptious Birthday breakfast was had by all including Oliver but his table manners are atrocious

Whether you're having a doggie party or not try Babbo's...the foods great and the people serving there are too
