coffee or donuts

what ever happened to my coffee AND donuts ?

earlier today shortly after 10 am i had a few donut holes at work ...mmmm ok since zee holes had been sitting out awhile - still a notch above satisfactory . my desert of sorts since I took a break at 10am and decided to eat my lunch which was a turkey/cheese/lettuce sandwich on wheat ( that i made) and a banana . eating your lunch at 10 am is likely a predictor of how the rest of your work day goes or ends ...

mentally burned out today ...what can i say when my mind lurches into burnout i don't concentrate real well and sometimes even get a little grouchy...well more like just a little less likely to be my pleasant happy go lucky self ...have to force it a little, you know . considering i am in customer service / sales and things were slow and too many people were scheduled i was more than happy ( see i can be happy today ) to volunteer and suggest i would /could go home early - now understand i was giving up four hours of pay but after doing the math in my head and deducting taxes and figuring my sales may not be all that robust this afternoon i didn't think too long about this decision ( to sell my boss on the idea) and even though he said yes- maybe a little to quickly- and i almost changed my mind just before going out the door but then stopping and thinking -geesh- that would drive the boss man a little crazy and so... hell it's friday i left and guess what ? i walked over to starbucks and decided to get a little pick me up with an iced coffee.

that brings this full circle so-to-speak ...have now had my coffee and donuts today . truth be told haven't actually had coffee and a donut in quite some time and its been bothering me somewhat that my blog title of the blog that i began back in february no longer seems relevant . come to think of it - it really bugs me . funny side bar to this is i never intended to have my blog title - coffee and donuts phase it was a mistake . i was going to write that day about coffee and donuts and by mistake entered it as my blog title and well the rest is history . i have had to accept all the accolades, money, women throwing themselves at me,free goods and services as the creator of the coffee and donuts phase blog while living with that burden everyday . a burden that has almost been too much to bear . and i haven't changed the name because it doesn't seem like i can on the existing site and really don't have an adequate replacement name anyways . i remain burdened.

so ...a few days ago i thought about using - bottle caps and pennies as a new blog title . i had been making a point while walking around-to and from the bus- to and from home-to and from wherever-to pick up a penny whenever i saw one . i had picked up a penny everyday up until a few days ago - yes everyday . thought had something interesting going since i like collections of sorts .i had been putting my found pennies in a jar and was also quite amuzed by it all . of course to be successful in the pick-up-a- penny-a-day endeavor you really need to be looking down while walking .

i tired of that a bit ...but not before one early morning around five thirty while still dark i came upon a $ 10 bill with no owner nearby . that certainly was a nice way to start the morning ...so i continued my walk / look down thing for a little while longer and just recently stopped . now that i have explained the pennies part of the potential blog title you may also be wondering about the bottle caps. i also started picking up crushed metal bottle caps mostly beer caps that had been smooshed flat . think there's something neat and colorful about them and have 20 or so (more than pennies) and figure going to make something out of them/ maybe something like a wind chime just not sure . that's the bottle cap explanation.

decided NOT going with bottle caps and pennies as my next blog title . decided it would be just alot easier for me to get a coffee and donut tomorrow morning ...
