4th of July Mira Mesa - Biggest Party in San Diego

Perhaps "biggest party in San Diego" is a stretch, but the Mira Mesa Community has a birthday bash fit for America.

If you want to wake up before the sun, be sure to head over to Scripps Ranch for one of the biggest community road races in San Diego. The 10k starts at 7AM and make sure you stick around for the free beer garden after the event. Check out the link below and I'll see you at the race.

With a tummy full of hops and barley head over to the Mira Mesa Epicentre (8450 Mira Mesa BLVD) for the pancake breakfast which stops serving their famous piles of bisquick at 11 am.

Just as you're wrapping up breakfast you can roll over to the 34th annual 4th of July Parade starting at 11:30. The parade dominates Fast Food BLVD (Mira Mesa BLVD) starting at Greenford Drive and ending at Camino Ruiz. The rest of the afternoon should be reserved for family and friends with maybe a quick stop at the "Fun Day at Gil Johnson Community Park". Some of the best fireworks in town happen at dusk at Mira Mesa High school.

Best of luck making it through the day with all ten fingers. It's time to celebrate another birthday for America.
