You Reader bloggers, many of you, the way you write reminds me of one of my favorite writers, Lorrie Moore. Her stories are most often published in The New Yorker, two of my favorites are Real Estate, and People Like That Are the Only People Here, a story she won the O. Henry award for back in 1998. I am posting those links through my subscriber ID, hopefully you can read them, if not google her name and a few of her more recent stories will appear that you can read. What I like about her writing, and what I think is similar to the writing here, is how she pursues and explores each and every thought, each expression, each phrase, through a number of permutations and meanings, arriving at a conclusion that's uniquely hers, her perspective, her world view. Reminds me of the Mexican saying, cada cabeza es un mundo, each mind is a world. That's how I see her writing, and yours. It is a pleasure to read such talented writers.
