Story From A Barbeque

When you ask the average person what their favorite part of summertime is...you are sure to get a few "Barbeque" answer that are thrwon into the mix. Even though it has been unusually cool in town this summer, yesterday was beautiful so our neigh, and had a great time doing so. We had the radio blasting and the grill going.

When I was speaking with one of my neighbors, he told me that the reason he liked Tierrasanta so much was that it was a "Dead End" community.

?? at first I was a little curious. Does that mean that we are stuck here, doomed to stay?

Of course not....and I agree with him.

One of the best parts of our little zip code is that it is surroounded by protected areas that do the same justice for the "island in the hills." MCAS Miramar is to the North, Mission Trails Regional Park (protected) is to the East and Admiral Baker Golf Course is to the south, and while it is easy to pass through or get where you are going, the only people that exit at our turn offs are those of us that chose to make 92124 our home.

After I posndered the genius of my neighbor, I went quickly back to my grileld chicken, a new kind of curry, and an ice cold beer.....a great end to the weekend!

Now what can they do with Encinitas unstable cliffs?

Make the cliffs fall, put up more warnings, fine beachgoers?
