Starting next week, future funky beat collective Liquid Geometry is bringing their worldwide roster stateside for the first ever Galactic Reign West Coast extravaganza.
The international coven of cyber-wizards specializes in forward-thinking juke, trap, experimental, no-step, ambient, and psychedelic bass bangers formulated to jiggle your bones out of your body and into a suspended state of ecstatic rapture.
The two-week trip launches on Wednesday, October 8 in Riverside followed by a Tijuana party on Friday, October 11 at Bodega Aragon (Negrete between 8th and 9th, Zona Centro, 18+) featuring:
Dutch producers Eigenheimer and Pluto Dash:
Uncon Sci, a Maryland native living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:
And local Liquid Geezer Sleeve:
Amsterdam graffiti-bomber-gone-contemporary-visionary Ard Doko will be painting live at the event as well as showing his work from Liquid Geometry’s collaborative Music is Art Project.
The six-month Music is Art installation at Amsterdam's 4816/asa Gallery features monthly future garage/trap releases by Pluto Dash alongside artwork inspired by the music and a video by SoCal projection-mapping wunderkind CutMod.
"This project is 100% aimed [at] blurring the lines that separate different mediums of art and creation, showcasing the natural attraction that sound and color have to build off one another," Liquid Geometry writes.
