Ragin, who is coming in from Colorado has serious credentials which include touring and recording with icons like Anthony Braxton, Roscoe Mitchell, David Murray, John Lindberg, and Maynard Ferguson.
He's got a clear and fluid aesthetic and is well versed in classical trumpet and bebop as well as the avant-garde.
I've been listening to a bunch of his work lately, and believe me, this guy is a killer!
