Rambling rock and blues duo Little Hurricane recently posted an album’s worth of cover songs for stream and free download.
A nod to their San Diego roots, Stay Classy features covers of Percy Sledge, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Bill Withers, Fiona Apple, Elbow, ZZ Top, Moby/Vera Hall and Aerosmith.
“After a long summer touring and recording, we are happy to present to you a collection of our 10 favorite covers,” the band writes on their Bandcamp page.
“In the meantime we will be back in the studio continuing to work on our second full length album, which is scheduled for release in early 2014.”
Little Hurricane will be returning to San Diego to play The Casbah on Friday, September 13 as part of the San Diego Music Thing.
