Pomona art and music collective Moon Block Party recently held their second annual Desert Daze festival in the Salton Sea-side town of Mecca with headliners including Tinariwen (a world-music group formed in a Libyan refugee camp), Los Angeles occult drone-folk artist Chelsea Wolfe, Warpaint (L.A.), and The Entrance Band (ex–The Convocation Of...).
As part of their first ever American southwest tour, Moon Block Party will eclipse The Void (3519 El Cajon Blvd – City Heights) on Wednesday, May 1 with Desert Dazers JJUUJJUU and Blackfeet Braves alongside local lysergic rockers Wild Wild Wets and Barbarian.

Wild Wild Wets dropped their second EP, Criminal Blue, via Bandcamp in February.
The 7-inch will be available on Friday, May 24 via Grizzly Records.
