“Do not come expecting a rowdy party,” Syeed advises in the Facebook event page.
“This event is strictly to provide an alternative, unique performance space for each of the performers. Families welcome.
“Come see DANIEL HIGGS of legendary Dischord band LUNGFISH, perform an intimate, solo acoustic set of his intense, spiritual ruminations, divinations, exclamations on his trusty Banjo. Expound philosophy, art, music history, tattoo art, Anything, The Everything.
“Come see ARRINGTON DE DIONYSO of K Records' OLD TIME RELIJUN-- the ultimate hellish party band -- do a solo acoustic set of horns, drone, Jew’s harp, throat singing, and Indonesian scat.
“The Nothingful Band will play a louder set of songs, instrumentals, a few covers in doors.
“Bill Wesley will perform a few very short sets featuring his own legendary invented Array Instruments, such as the nail violin, array keyboard, mbira board.
“Sean Francis Conway of Bombshell Orchestra fame performs with Andrew Bracken (Street of Little Girls, Nothingful, A Zillion Happy Volts) on percussion. Drones on violin, accordion, didgeridoo, and a barely contained, loud, vocal emanation in the old American folk tradition of The Sacred Harp Appalachian church song.
“Ædwyrrd will perform some traditional Irish and Scotch tunes vocally, on flutes, and with throat singing, including a bit of history on each piece.”
Bring a paddle for ping pong after the show.
