Gabe Lehner took time aside from the indie rock hip hop jams of Inspired Flight to record an album of dude/guitar anthems titled The Swift Death of Dysfunction (released last Friday).
“The time has come for me to put out my first proper solo album,” Lehner writes on his Bandcamp page.
“For me this album has been therapy, it's been release, it's been inspiring, it's been challenging, it's been uplifting, it's been depressing... it's been a hundred things. Now it is done.”
He goes to explain that, while the album is available at name-your-price, he encourages listeners to pay what they can.
“Think of this as a reverse Kickstarter where I made the album first, then ask for whatever support you feel it's worth. I ultimately just want to share my art though, so if you need to do the free-download option it’s all good.”
