"We're looking for musical acts with at least two sibling members," says Josh Herbst, Casting Producer for an upcoming MTV series co-produced with Randy Jackson (America's Best Dance Crew, etc.).
Are you, or do you know someone who's part of, an unsigned sibling duo or group who could be the next Jackson Five, Oasis, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon, Hanson, Dixie Chicks, or the National? According to Herbst, the show is looking for "any genre or performance style, whose members appear to be between the ages of 16 to 24, and who have the star power to light up the stage and the screen."
Note the age range of 16 to 24 refers to "appearance," rather than actual ages.

If San Diego's young Garcia 3 audition, they're gonna need lifts in their shoes...

So how about it, SD siblings? Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman, Mattson 2? Lucina and Tino Gonzalez (Black Hondo )? Sasquatchian-born twins Josh and Zach Wheeler (Scarlet Symphony, etc.)? Jessica and Louis Petrella of the Echelons (which includes their dad Ben Petrella, former guitarist for the Drive-Ins and bassist for King Neptune and Wally World)?
Nickel Creek vets Sara and Sean Watkins are both already signed to record deals, and Bart and Joe Mendoza are a bit older than the show's stated demographic, but surely this city has many other musical siblings eligible for inclusion. Interested musicians should contact [email protected] for more details.

A brief (two-three paragraph) summary of your group or band's "story" - how you started performing together, what your goals and dreams are, the biggest obstacles you've faced, and where you see yourselves going as a group.
Some photographs: ideally one group shot, as well as good closeups of each group member.
A link to one or more video(s) or downloadable MP3(s) that clearly demonstrate(s) your performance style and talents.
Phone numbers where you can be easily reached.
