Tijuana/Las Vegas freak folk troubadour Late Nite Howl (Paul Dodero) recently released his debut music video, “Days Have Gone,” from the pending self-titled EP.
The video is a nostalgic collection of vintage Super 8 footage from a family picnic which director Jesus Vasquez found in a rummage pile outside of a photography store.
Dodero’s music evokes Syd Barrett circa Madcap Laughs, a minimalist Nick Drake, and the more haunting aspects of Mark Kozelek.

Dodero performed at last year’s All My Friends music festival at the “Millionaire House,” a nouveau riche mansion on a hillside overlooking Avenida Revolución in Tijuana.
The lineup for this year’s installation will be announced soon, says organizer Marty Preciado.
