Sweet Cheeks at El Dorado

A night of ’80s boogie funk, beats, baby-makin’ medleys, future funk, and future wife jams

Sweet Cheeks host Mawkus

Every third Wednesday, hosts Mawkus and Bencey coat happening downtown cocktail lounge El Dorado (1030 Broadway) with a rich layer of “future sexual chocolate” — a mingling of ’80s boogie funk, beats, baby-makin’ medleys, future funk, and Mawkus’s patented “future wife” jams, designed to delight the dames and facilitate them vapors.

Sweet Cheeks debuted at El Dorado this summer with a bowl of Ring Pops on hand to accommodate dance-floor engagements.

“Sweet Cheeks was inspired by the fact that, from my experiences, when one goes out to a bar or venue and wants to hear different music, no one ever thinks of the ladies, let alone the music that creates babies,” Popcorn & Jelly promoter Marcus “Mawkus” Rosario told the Reader last year.

Tonight is your last chance to tap into the free Wife-Fi and meet your future fiance before the much ballyhooed end of the world.

Get loose at the last Sweet Cheeks of 2012 with special guest b-boy Saso from Rock So Fresh!:
