Halfway through a two-month U.S. tour with dates joined by Cults and Hot Snakes, vintage surf rockers Mrs. Magician (Reader contributor Dave Good called their songs “likeable period pieces culled from the rich musical bone-yards of the late ’70s”) recently posted their new 7-inch Fools Paradise for pre-order (£4.99) via independent UK label Enjoyment Records.

Their fourth 7-inch in the past year-and-a-half, the Fools Paradise picture disc is a limited run of 300 and comes just a few weeks after the physical release of their debut full-length Strange Heaven (Swami Records), which was recorded and produced by John Reis of Hot Snakes, Rocket From The Crypt, Night Marchers, and Drive Like Jehu.
