Today, San Diego-based boutique vinyl labels Art Fag Recordings released Boston-gone-Oakland/LA artist Colleen Green’s 12”Cujo EP, six tracks of stoned, blasé, far away, ‘verby fuzz pop ex-love songs.
Pitchfork called the EP “coffee for your ears,” but Green’s disconnected demeanor is more readily likened to a blissed-out benzodiazepine daze.
You don’t love me, but so what? Pass the binger, crank the jams.
Green embarks on a two week U.S. tour (with two stops in Canada) today with Art Fag sound-alikes Crocodiles and Dum Dum Girls.
Stream Cujo for free right now, before the rain stops and we run out of weed.
